Here you can find out all you need about the upcoming Onyx DVD.

When will the DVD be released?

The DVD will be released soon. It's finished and the first word of a date will be here at Onyxdomain.com. We are just getting the right distributor for it.

Where can I buy it?

Hopefully all DVD/music stores will carry it depending on it's release, but without a doubt it will be available here

What region is it?

It will be region free, in NTSC.

Is this just some pressed DVD some kid made in his basement?

No. This is a professionally done DVD. It is not burned, and it is dual-layer. Dual-layer means it has twice the capacity as many DVD's (8.5GB as opposed to 4.3GB of a single-layer DVD).

Is the DVD censored?

Absolutely not (however, Sticky Fingaz "Get It Up" video has blurred nudity since that's the way the video was mastered).

How much will it cost?

Not a penny more than any other DVD out there. We assume $14 or so. Keep in mind the DVD also has incredible artwork inside and out.

Will it be available all over the world?

Yes. At the very least this website will sell it. However, a worldwide release is planned.

The video's are all digitally and audially remastered, with Dolby Digital surround sound for the music. Each channel has it's own entire audio track producing the loudest, most balanced way to see and listen to Onyx videos ever. This goes for the 5 bonus videos as well:

The DVD also includes Slam Karaoke with official on screen lyrics (not the bull-shit lyrics all over the web), as well as Onyx's appearance on the Santa Baby video, the Soul Train awards, and commentary on all 17 Onyx videos by Sticky and Fredro.

The rare footage section has hours of rare underground footage shot by an amateur videographer who followed Onyx from 1992-1998. You'll get to see Onyx in the studio, recording never before heard songs, sessions with Biggie, Method Man and more, freestyles, live shows, video shoots, and as well as them just doing jack shit. The entire length of the DVD is completely insane and can't be viewed in one sitting.

How were the videos obtained?

All videos were obtained by the companies who own them for the purpose of this DVD. All videos were transferred to DVD from their original reels and formats providing the best possible picture quality. Some minor digital remastering was done as well to bring the picture quality even further. The "I'll Murder You" video was obtained by the same man who posessed all the rare Onyx footage. The video was NEVER even submitted to Def Jam after it's finishing. It has literally never been seen before.
